"I love most of my professors and have yet to meet an incompetent one. In my opinion, the workload is pretty manageable (if you are not also working) and the professors tend to be really helpful during office hours. Everything has been pretty smooth-sailing for me with a few bumps on the road, but it was mostly my fault for not seeking the available resources the school has for free. Study sessions are abundant and even making your own is relatively easy as most students are open and really like working together for support and sharing information."
"The professors in this school are great. I have yet to have one that I did not enjoy his class. The work that they give you is not ridiculous either. There are so many study areas and help that you can get especially in the library."
"I've attended a few schools and I keep coming back to HSU. The academics are wonderful and the staff sincerely want you to succeed. The professor to student ratio is great in comparison to other CSUs. Just like anywhere though, you can get a quack professor who rambles on about conspiracies, or an excellent anatomy professor who takes the time to clearly explain everything with great patience."
